To work in a company where my strengths will be recognized and where I can further prosper as a professional; whether as an individual, a member of a team (or a team leader) or as a manager.
I have a Master’s degree in engineering and management, which I think is a pretty good combination.
If I would have to describe myself in 2 words, it would be "problem solver". No matter the kind of the problem, I have a knack for solving it; mainly by using analytical and logical thinking... Something that is actually very hard to incorporate in a CV.
Besides that, I’m a big picture guy. I’m very good with understanding the system with all the “how-s” and “why-s”, as well as suggesting tweaks and improvements when possible. I’m great with people, and I have excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
I'm very versatile, hard working and cooperative with my coworkers (be it for task fulfillment or to lend a hand when needed).
I have both downstream and upstream experience, with years spent in multinational (and multicultural) team which played an important part in developing my communication skills and ability to adapt to specifics of such work environment. It has also provided me with invaluable insight in various team dynamics present in such a team, understanding of which is crucial for any successful team member or a leader.
I am a very good leader when given the opportunity, and I’m not afraid to speak my mind, make decisions and take responsibility. Furthermore, I'm very good at defining and/or understanding priorities in dynamic environments and busy situations.
3+ years of experience as a maintenance and commissioning supervisor in the beginning of my career provided me with valuable knowledge which I have since successfully incorporated in my appointments as Planner, Head of rotating equipment maintenance department and CMMS Technical advisor.
As Head of department and CMMS Technical Advisor I have acquired vast experience in project cost planning and budget monitoring in general.
I am highly skilled when it comes to IT technologies and I have advanced knowledge of various softwares. I have often been able to implement this knowledge and skills in my professional activities to improve my performance, as well as general efficiency of my team.
There is one important thing I should highlight... I don't know everything! Simply because, coming to a new Company, it is impossible to know how things work, what is where and what is required to be done…
However, I am a quick learner and willing to ask questions. I’d say being a member of MENSA goes in my favor on that part.
